Rushden St Mary's Harvest Festival this year is on Sunday 6th October at 11.00am. We are lucky enough to have Martin Dingemann to share his experiences of farming in Hertfordshire and the work involved in the harvest - do come along - all are welcome.
We are collecting non perishables to take to the local food bank so please bring to the church before or on the 6th October. The collection during the service will go to a local charity TBC and also the charity recommended by the Diocese.
There will also be lunch provided in the village hall afterwards - again all welcome whether you came to the service or not of course!
If you fancy, do please bring a salad to share - lunch will be something simple such as baked potatoes and chilli or cheese - our Rector Sarah will confirm in the weekly Kingswood Benefice Newsletter nearer the time.
